In our society we place a value on what we consider to be treasures. In spite of the fact that each of us may give something a different value, society has deemed that some treasures or worth more or less than others. In this talk I will explore ways that our lives (as women) are impacted by the way we identify and value our most precious and valuable objects – ourselves.

𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑪. 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓 is an author, professional speaker & trainer, a mediator – skilled in conflict resolution and an empowerment coach for women over 50. She holds a BA degree and MSOP (Master’s in Organizational Leadership) and considers herself a life-long learner.

In her book, 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐧’𝐭 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐒𝐨 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐭: 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, Patrice draws from the pain of losing her dad at the tender of age of nine and the diagnosis of her only son, with a mental illness, at the age of 16. In facing life’s challenges, she has become the confident, courageous and authentic woman – from the inside out. Her sense of humor, positive energy, and “𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝” attitude are the keys to living life on her own terms.

Patrice has spoken to, and trained audiences across the country, including Hawaii and Alaska. In her coaching system for women over 50, she is committed to helping women learn to live life on their own terms by overcoming their insecurities, doubts, and fears and saying yes to the powerhouse woman on the inside. Patrice believes it is an inside job.

Through her podcast, Soul to Soul with Patrice C. Baker, Patrice shares honest, yet raw insights into topics that lead women out of their regret, lack of satisfaction, and the fear surrounding starting over.
